    I hope Rigondeaux bounces back

But he won't. They have the ultimate excuse to never give him a shot again. He absolutely demolishes eveeybody at 122...

I miss the Axeman, too. Props to Lomachenko though.

My prediction is that rigo gets a couple of wins ( maybe bums) wins a title vs some decent fighter and loses to someone like Rey Vargas and retires

I can only hope. Not sure Vargas is good enough though. Now's the time for people to take a fight with Rigo though.

Getting hurt and stopped is one thing. Maybe you just got caught. It happens.

But when you get outclassed and embarrassed...
That's hard to come back from.

Psychologically, you're never the same. You will always have doubt plaguing your mind. Your sense of self-belief is irreversibly compromised.

Conflicted because as much respect as I had for his talents, he put on so many snoozefests in the past, and now to bytch out in his big chance, that's just too much. I didn't even expected him to win at that weight, but I did expect him to be a man.

I don't care what he does. I just hope I don't have to hear about him anymore.

Whoa... c'mon man. Yeah, he quit but he's still pretty talented.

lol are we starting this 122 rubbish again?

he never fought anyone when he had the chance, when he had the chance to put on a show against agbeko he folded mentally and coasted in one of the worst championship fights in the divisions history. He should have destroyed him after those first couple rounds.

He then blamed everyone but himself for not getting another top fight, signed with amateur promoters and wasted his career.

Yeah the whole division was running from him tho.

Why wouldn’t he? Stevenson been KO’d before...

Rigo can fight anyone at 122-130. Now that the belief is that Rigo was “exposed” he can go for a title in any of these divisions or attempt at 126 to be a 2 Weight Champ.
