The fight with Mikey should happen now, before he moves up from 135 permanently. If not in their next fight then in the one right after.

I think the Mikey fight will still be there if it doesn't happen next.
If it doesn't happen next that doesn't mean it won't happen.
On the other hand, once Loma moves up to 135 he probably won't be coming back down.
That's why I think he should take advantage and try to clean up 130 as much as possible before leaving.
Some may not like that but I want to see Loma unify and fight guys like Berchelt and Davis.

Plus, the Mikey fight is the fight that gets the most hype. They're obviously going to build it up a little more. I think the Mikey fight will happen in 2019. In the meantime Loma and Mikey can fight other top guys.

I definitely see what you're saying, but I do think the fight will happen.
I wouldn't be surprised if Mikey fights at 135 AND 140 at the same time.
Remember years ago, before his layoff, Mikey wanted to do something similar at 126 and 130 or 130 and 135; I can't remember exactly but he wanted to fight in two weight classes at the same time. So don't be shocked if he does it now at 135 and 140.
