Comments Thread For: Lomachenko on Rigondeaux: I Learned Nothing, It Was Easy!

On Saturday night from The Theater in Madison Square Garden, Vasyl Lomachenko retained his WBO super featherweight title after beating stopping Guillermo Rigondeaux in six rounds. Lomachenko (10-1) dominated for six rounds before Rigondeaux called it quits, citing a left hand injury, before the start of the seventh. The highly anticipated bout never reached any great heights. It was the first time in boxing history where two, two-time Olympic gold medal winners met in the ring.

    Respect to Loma.
Easy nights work and easy money.

Where Rigo goes from here is anyone's guess.
Too bad he had to move up 2 weight classes to get a fight.

He knew what he was getting into though.

Say what you want to say, slowly but surly Loma is cementing his place in the Top 10 P4P rankings.

Loma is legit if you do not know it by now!!

Rigo still has talent, and is probably still the best @ 122, but YOU CAN'T QUIT! You can't ask people to pay to see someone who quit, AND is not that entertaining to see in the first place! Too much to overcome, and time is not on his side! Time to hang 'em up! Loma is definitely Top #10, and if he beats Mikey Garcia @ 135 for his title, he'll become #1, until Crawford unifies @ WW. If i'm Arum, I try to convince Manny and Loma to meet at a catch-weight (Manny has fought in many CW fights in the past), and then fight Mikey Garcia for his 135 title!

I definitely thought it was going to be more challenging but Loma proved me wrong. I think Loma should move up, there is literally no one in these lower weights that can challenge him. Perhaps Garcia or Linares at 135?

Easy isn’t even the word. I didn’t need to see this embarrassment to know Lomo is legit.
