Ok, let's think about it for a second. They stop the fight because of the hand injury and then... start untaping the other hand first.

    Isn't it, ehh... strange?

Now reports like Boxing Clever, just random writers willl try and make it seem like the injury was fake... Low and behold Wilder on PBC broke his hand as well smashing Arreola. Difference is weight differences from all fighters mentioned

Loma GOAT defence according to you? Shattered Rigo’s power (jaw and socket breaking)hand in the very first round.

Damn Lomachenko really is the matrix

Rigo jabs with his right, so lets look at the power punches he landed in each round:

Round 1: Zero. ok, he didn't say he hurt his hand in that round anyway.

Round 2: ONE. So must have been that one punch then right ? (even assuming it was from a left and not a right which I don't know).

Round 3: ZERO. So err, did he hurt it again in the third just waving his hand around ?

Even if Rigo didn't hurt his hand, you are looking at the wrong stats. It could have been a punch that was blocked on the elbow, glove, shoulder... Hey, if the hand was wrapped wrong, he won't even have to throw for it to start hurting.

Bottom line is Rigo was overwhelmed. He never fought a naturally bigger, extremely skilled guy like that who stayed with him side by side like a reflection. Regular pressure fighters don't even mirror opponents that well.

I personally would like to see a rematch after Rigo has fought 3 - 4x in one year.

True, an awkward missed punch probably more likely to cause injury than a clean one.

But all those years in boxing, and at this level, and hand wrapped wrong ? That would be astonishing.

Unfortunately, chances of Rigo getting 3-4 fights in a year about the same as my chance of getting it on with the Tecate girls, and the chance of a rematch about the same as my chance of the Tecate girls wanting me back for a second round.

Rigo came out with the wrong gameplan and paid the price. he needed to establish his jab instead of trying to fight like some drunken master. Loma is no regular boxer. just pure arrogance by Rigo to try those tactics.

              he embarrassed and disgraced himself.

He hurt his hand grabbing Loma's head. You can see him holding and hitting and when the ref stepped in and pushed them apart, his wrist was still wrapped around Loma's neck.
