Loma-Rigo was a haters nightmare

Too many fans, particularly on NSB, base their opinions on the what they want, not what they believe.

Sadly, most of Rigo's "fans" were more interested in Loma losing, than Rigo winning.

What happened to boxing fans using their logic? Do people not watch fights anymore? Do they care about what happens in the ring, or do they only care about the names in NSB threads? Is the ability to analyse fighter and their fights, a dying art?

I think you've got that wrong.

We all knew Rigo was up against it...smaller, way past his best, going up two weight division but we were hoping to see some magic and the underdog winning.

Didn't happen.

It seems like ESPN is trying to sell their broad audience on boxing and were pushing Loma really hard as a "look at this guy. He's amazing. You should start watching boxing on ESPN all the time to watch this amazing guy."
