Lomachenko is giving boxing a breath of fresh air with his unique and exciting style and his eagerness to just compete against the best. We were wondering who would take the mantle after Floyd and Pacquiao and I think we finally found it.

The consensus boxing rule book is essentially thrown out the window when you fight him because his style is so uniquely effective. This is the most impressed I’ve been watching a fighter for a number of years.
I was thinking of RJ too the way he moves and throws combows. Roy was so exciting in his prime. Hopefully lona will be smarter and make enough to retire and not keep fighting past his prime like Roy. Roy needs to be banned for his own good I think he’s addicted

          Very well said, man.

Yeah, in the years to come, he's gonna be on a lot of discussions around here.

          Looking forward to it.

Doubt it, its like how I view Michael Jordan.

Mentally athletes just can't match the best of the best. There may be faster, stronger and even bigger fighters coming after or during Lomachenko's fun but what he has upstairs is something else. He's so calculated and his focus and discipline in the ring is unlike anything I've seen, including Floyd, though Floyd has the edge in terms of technical skill but being able to witness this now is unbelievable. He's going to go down as the GOAT.

And he's the perfect mix of the two of them too. How can anyone not appreciate this right now.

That’s an interesting point, I’d assume he’d have to work with them from a very young age like he has with Loma

great fighter, I think the word HATE for loma is overrated, nobody hates him and most acknowledge hes a great fighter its just the statements like hes already a top 5 ATG getting questioned that u guys turn into people HATING on him, nobody hates on loma. anyone who questions him or gives little criticism is labled racist or a hater. any great fighter will deal with criticism u guys just go completely nuts and try to start a race war when it happens to loma due to your insecurities and fact that the hate u gave for other great fighters was based on race. there have been great fighters who have been completely trashed and dogged on this site. with that being said Loma is a once n a lifetime talent that we as boxing fans should all enjoy just as Floyd was.

The problem Roy has is boxing is all he’s ever known, his father was VERY abusive and the boxing ring was the only place he really felt safe and at home. Roy’s admitted himself he owes his life to boxing so I think he has some sort of twisted loyalty to keep fighting.
I think he’s also become as you say addicted to the high you get from fighting. It’s real sad watching him fight on but as long as he’s medically cleared there’ll always be another fight out there for him. I wish he’d retire myself. If he continues, hopefully, he just fights these club fighter types like Gunn, Moore etc cause I’d hate to see him knocked unconscious yet again.
