Rather a childish, simplistic question I know, but I'm curious.
See, the thing is, I'd stake a bil on the Cotto fight being the more entertaining, yet I'm more excited about the Hopkins-Tarver bout for some reason.
Apparently HBO are expecting such a hard-fought, closely contested bout that they've instructed Compubox to keep an accurate record of all the feint stats. The word on the street is that it will go down to the judges as to what they like best - Tarver's power feints or Hopkins's higher feint workrate?
There's other imponderables to consider, like how long will it take Hopkins to use his most vaunted weapon - the concealed headbutt? Will Tarver take his cue from Borehard and just take the entire fight off instead of nine rounds?
I've got a feeling that Hopkins will win a SD and that Tarver will be crying on the ropes again. But I'm curious to see how and why, despite myself.
Incidentally, if you're in the UK you can watch both fights back-to-back for FREE on SKY.
