$400k must be enough for Riggo or else he wouldn't have taken the fight...

Man, I just don't know why the hell Rigo took this fight. It's all set up for him to lose for, relatively, peanuts.

not really. % can sometimes mean thing or another but given an event where one promoter has a direct TV deal, that promoter has to pay both parties. for example: GGG vs Brook. Hearn deal directly with sky box office forbids him from negotiating a % split of their revenue with GGG so in return, Hearn has to pay both guys a figure that does not hurt sky that why ggg and brook each got 5mill a piece and no upside, no way k2 is covering that purse for GGG they barely pay him 2.5mill on his own cards. the same way many people believe al haymon acts a defacto promoter when guys like shafikov and oquendo and khabib were under deals with gbp/tr and they were not getting their purses covered from those guys but instead whatever promoter was on the PBC card. same applies here, TR is paying rigo for his services on this card. its not a co promoted event in any way.

I been saying his promoter doesn’t matter who it is cause it’s not top rank, and no that’s his and his teams purse he’s not getting a top rank check his promoter is breaking him off smh you’re a lost cause

What you don’t get is Hearn put up the money and broke K2 off it’s a whole different situation. Rigo is not receiving a direct top rank check his promoter is, his promoter then acts as a middle man in this situation.

but thats after the dust settles, the registered purse with the commission usually reflects the entire purse of card without deductions or people taking their own $. the checks are named to the promoters bc rigo isnt signed to TR but dollar $ reflected to the commission has to match what originally in the paperwork.

It's almost 4x the amount he got paid in his last fight...
