That can happen when you actually fight in your own weight class. Oh maybe it is because Rigo does not gas like GGG?

Ah no i got it. Rigo actually beat his best opponent, instead of getting a D like GGG!

Draws >>> Wins! how silly of me to forget.

If he wins clean without controversy then yes, he deserves P4P #1. Actually whoever wins this fight clean is número uno.

If lomachenko wins (which I do think he will), he will get ranked#1 p4p by the media as they've been dreaming of from day 1 along with Arum. I think Lomas an extremely talented fighter as I do think with countless other fighters of elite skills, but his pro resume is being extremely overrated when being compared with other fighters. Take keith Thurman for example his resume is far better than lomachenkos resume yet you never hear all this nonsense about him being p4p #1. Thats not even counting Canelo & Ggg both at this point have better resumes than him,ggg just loses points because of his age of finally facing good opponents. Crawford is another fighter with a better resume than loma.

Lomachenko is getting way too much credit for supposedly getting 2 titles in the fastest amount of time ever, yet he happens to be/been in division/s that has been completely unknown by casuals for ages & subsequently had no stars whatsoever( so the fighters are part time uber drivers). And hes backed by top rank,if not for that he wouldn't have fought a nobody for a wbo belt in his very 1st fight in a lower weight class than he fought in olympics.

In his 2nd fight he lost the wbo belt & in his next fight was allowed to fight for the same exact vacant wbo belt because Salido came in 2 lbs over. And fair play to loma on that 1.

But That should tell you just how much pull Arum has with the WBO. Bottom line is even if Loma beats rigo, hes still expected to win by most because of size alone. He needs to settle in a good 1-2 divisions like 130-135 & start fighting the best his own size like garcia/berchelt/easter/linares etc.

Exactly!! He wins against someone that's much older and much smaller he shouldn't even get credit at all

P4P is more than just resume. It's how fighters would stack up at mythical weights if they could carry their skills with them. Thurman has a so,I'd resume but has only been fighting once a year. Inactivity has hurt him in the rankings.

Yeah, Thurman gets no love, and he's been doing his thing. but crawford had all the belts in his division. But if, and I do believe Loma will win. If he's as good as people believe, he shouldnt lose to someone TWO weight classes lower, but if he goes on to fight mikey and beats mikey he's no question the best in the game. BUT IF WHAT YOU GUYS SAY ABOUT ARUM, is true...Rigo has no chance but a KO. So if Rigo wins, he's definitely no1, but if Loma wins, he was supposed to beat a boxer coming up TWO weight classes. but if Loma goes up in weight classes and beats Mikey....He's number 1

Lomachenko gets credit because he is very good. If he beats Rigondeaux he deserves credit. I give a damn about age and size. Rigondeaux is an elite fighter. It would not surprise me if Rigondeaux wins though I favor Loma albeit barely.

Nobody with only ten professional fights belongs on any p4p list. What a joke this sport has become.
