Who are the "lions" at 147? Spence, yes. Thurman, maybe, but he has become a part time fighter. Crawford is in a different class than guys like Danny Garcia, Porter, etc. Pacquaio is washed up as an elite fighter and I hope he retires. I don't think 147 is as good as it used to be.

I don't understand anyone can question Crawford's skills. The guy is one of the best. The question is will the established guys at 147 want anything to do with Crawford?

Pac is a ATG so I dont know where u get that idea... His 147 run isnt an ATG one but his whole career and his lower weights run was something special...

As for Crawford... well... his best win is Postol and an undersized Gamboa. Hes a very good fighter but he needs some good name under his belt before he can become great

I think crawford is although very good he hasnt beat anybody.

Pacquaio put his work in lets not downplay that, towards the end he fought subpar compeition but so did mayweather (not to turn this into a mayweather vs pacquaio issue) and these are just facts.

I disagree. Crawford and Pacquiao are great fighters in their own right and not because Arum matched them so carefully. Pacquiao was voted fighter of the decade by the boxing writers and I doubt he would win that award just by clever matchmaking if he wasn't a hell of a fighter. Crawford has fought everyone he should have fought and avoided nobody. He completely unified the 140 pound weight class and weight classes rarely get completely unified. He proved himself by far the best at 140. Now that he enters the tough 147 pound weight class I think only the outstanding Spence can beat him. I think he beats any other welterweight including Thurman.
