Rigo will be on his Backfoot and run the whole fight!

This Cuban Guillermo Rigondeaux will be on his Backfoot & run through most of the fight & will lose by UD.

I'll bump this thread after the fight...

He'll be on the backfoot but his left hand will land all night against a confused Loma who wont be able to pull the trigger

Pretty ****** analysis, considering their styles and the fact that Loma is a light puncher while Rigo is a strong counter puncher.
I think Loma wins, but your math is all wrong.

I have a feeling Rigondeaux is going for a KO. He might not get it but his effort will probably sway the judges. The video I watched last night of him and Diaz on the pads is the perfect way for him to fight Lomachenko. If they can execute it I'm not so sure about a Lomachenko win anymore. Either way, I expect Rigondeaux to land some hard shots on Lomachenko. Either from the back foot or at close range between Lomachenko's punches.

You don't win rounds by just moving forward.

I don't think either man will run away. They are highly skilled boxer-punchers and not runners so I think it will be a good exciting fight. Lara is the Cuban fighter who sometimes runs away. Rigo has won 61% of his pro fights by KO and Loma has 7 KO wins in 10 pro fights.

One thing is sure. The Cuban will make any fighter with Donaire calibre an offensive fighter. Even though Donaire himself was a counter puncher and a natural defensive fighter. Donaire couldn't stand the booing so he fought contrary to his style.
Loma is both defense and offense, so the Cuban will run faster in this fight.
