He already is to a certain degree but at least he is a champion who is undefeated so he has that going for him. The fact the WBA is going to strip him if he loses despite it being a different weight class is a sign people want him out of boxing. He is literally fighting to save his career.
Rigo will fall into obscurity if he loses

Potential for a Featherweight WBSS next year maybe? Could see him landing on that. He has tweeted about the Cruiser tournament quite a lot in support of Dorticos (or whoever has his twitter account has).
Only really Valdez at the moment who is big at 126, and he is with Bob so wont enter. Frampton, LSC, MAres and those guys all came up from lower weights -
I kinda agree. Taking 130 was really risky for him because it puts him at a size disadvantage and if he loses this, what does he have? A Donaire win? People will sadly forget about him if he doesn't at least make a really strong showing for himself.
On the other hand, a win will back-up everything everyone's ever said about the guy and give him legend status, off only 2 good fights.Comment

Hes always prone to being obscure but it's his own fault, he chooses to fight in the most boring style possible.Comment

You really think Bob is going to match him with Valdez? WBSS would be his only hope imo.Potential for a Featherweight WBSS next year maybe? Could see him landing on that. He has tweeted about the Cruiser tournament quite a lot in support of Dorticos (or whoever has his twitter account has).

No I was saying that he could enter WBSS at FW (if thats where they do their tourney) and he wouldnt have to worry too much about size disadvantages because the only really big guy at the weight is Valdez, who wont enterComment
