Everyone knows this is a stall tactic. The fight will happen when Canelo and Oscar decides it will.

When you're in the driver's seat you drive. You don't look around and start asking questions on where to go next.

GGG is likely not going to rematch Jacobs. If he does, it will be well after the Canelo rematch since he doesn't want to take a tough fight that might reduce his chances of winning.

Gamesmanship and doing what is best for your career is something every top level fighter does.
I suppose. But Jacobs hasn't been screaming for a rematch (that's not to say he doesn't want it) nor has the public. I agree that Golovkin should rematch Jacobs and I wouldn't necessarily mind if it happened before the Canelo one.

Considering how most of the boxing world feels Golovkin won, doesn't that at the very least take some leverage away from Canelo?

I doubt it will happen until after the Canelo fight, if it ever does. Most likely GGG goes to 168 for a money fight after Canelo.

The court of public opinion takes a back seat to judge Adalaide Byrd I'm afraid. If the fight was called correctly for Golovkin then yes. The draw didn't take Canelo's power advantage away.

To be fair, I think Golovkin would take the same stance if he "won" and Canelo was wanting a rematch.

These ******s are implying that Golovkin wants the Canelo rematch to avoid other challenges, even though they're the same ones who insist that Canelo clearly won the first fight and that he would beat Golovkin even easier in the rematch. If that's the case, how is Canelo not challenging enough?

And talk about avoiding a challenge... Canelo may be waiting for the winner of BJS-Lemiuex. One is an average boxer who ducked the crap out of Golovkin and Jacobs for years and the other is a guy who Golovkin already dominated.
The only reason lil g wants Nelo is for the biggest pay-days he would get period. lil g's own trainer is shook of Jermall Charlo....#Lions Only!

Jacobs has asked for the rematch Multiple times. He even asked for the winner of Nelo/lil g but you must just tune-in to the bob arum or jim lampley show only for the daily brainwash....

If Golovkin fights and beats Charlo, who will be the next boogeyman that he's scared to death of?

                    Demetrius Andrade.
                    Then Vaughn Alexander.
                    Then Hurd.

Andrade just talks a bunch of crap. His best win was Vanes which was like what, 4 years ago? He ducked the crap out of Lara and would only pretend to want to fight him once Lara already had another fight scheduled. Seriously, his interviews get more attention than his actual fights. I don't think his heart is in boxing.
