Not sure if either of these move up to the top of pound for pound lists. I am a huge Lomachenko fan, but too few fights on the pro level. Gotta have at least something close to 20 fights to be #1, don't ya? I actually think you could defend Rigondeaux in the #1 position a ton easier with his record and who he has faced, but there are so many sports writers and commentators who hate the way he boxes I can't see it. By the way, unless one of these two guys lays a brick on Saturday I do not think a loss to the other should drop either out of P4P discussions.

Crawford deserves the #1 spot right now, certainly top 3. Golovkin, Crawford, Rigondeaux if he wins, and maybe Keith Thurman if you forgive him for being out with an injury would be all contenders for the #1 spot on my personal list. Lomanchenko if he wins, Spence Jr, Naoya Inoue, Canelo, and maybe Oleksandr Usyk in no particular order nipping for a place in the top 5 and jockeying for position in the top 10. Someone else pick a name to get a tenth for me....
