As a matter of fact someone might say that Loma is less versatile because he is not known to be able to outbox people from the outside. He usually just escapes, resets and comes back looking for angles at mid and short range. Look at his fight with Russel for instance. Very little boxing from the outside or at long range from Lomachenko.

Lomachenko doesn't have Rigo's reach to dominate anything at longer range

He's finished quite a few guys in close range with precise uppercuts to both head and body.

Loma doesn't have to have the biggest reach to dominate guys from the outside. Look at Pacman, same height, same reach and has dominated guys much taller than him and with bigger reach from the outside.

Loma does things no boxer can prepare for. He'll adapt mid-round and suss Rigo out, but who knows? it might be another Barrera Hamed fight, the master technician vs the unorthodox flashy showman

I don't really think so, but there's nothing wrong with being that as many fighters find success with the style they know.

I just wonder, because it seems like he does the same thing every time out, slapping the other fighter's lead hand with his jab, launching the big left hand, backing up and waiting and waiting and waiting. Low punch output lots of times.

I'm not calling him that, but let's hear some of the deeper levels of his game from the Rigo fans or from, people who actually study styles and know more about his style. Fanboys, feel free to rant and rave.

At all,

Rigo has a terrific footwork, can dodge, slip punches, feint, varying the speed.

He might be one handed, not really using his right hand, but def not one dimensionnal.

He doesnt have to he uses different angles kind of like pacquiao. Im sure if he wanted to stay outside and potshot he could but he doesnt need to when his style is completely different. Why stay on the outside when you can frustrate the **** out of opponents with his angles and speed?
