Ali fought well and deserved to win but he beat a really lousy version of Cotto. Hurd, Charlo, Trout and Lara would all beat Ali at 154 and Spence, Thurman, Porter, Garcia and Crawford would all beat him at 147 in my opinion.

I�ll give you that but sadam still got KO�d by vargas and old ass cotto put up a fight with a ripped bicept don�t go around acting like sadam is the goat all of a sudden.

Maybe we didn't believe. I think it's more accurate to say that most of us just didn't care. I actually played video games instead because I had to interest in that fight. That might make be a bad boxing fan but that's how irrelevant this fight was to me.

Most history books neglect to mention that Saddam had to pull a sword out of a stone to become leader of Iraq, and that was the weapon of mass destruction Bush Jr. was worried about.

Why are people playing down Ali's victory? He was the heavy underdog in this fight even against an old Cotto and this was being referred to as a cherry pick fight for Cotto.

Ali goes in there, rocks Cotto multiple times and clearly beats him. All of a sudden Cotto is ancient and injured (we dont know when he actually he sustained the injury).
