Burnett better watch his back. Hearn will toss him in with 3G or Canelo for enough money. He won't care about home town or officials for the right kind of cash. Hearn may not want you to lose for little money, but he'll get you hurt for the right price.

Lets not forget Tete has been moving up and started as a flyweight but old ass Rigo just decided to jump at what 40 years of age?

If fans had there way there would be 75% less fights altogether and boxing would have died, as all our favourite and top fighters would have fought each other one after another until they were all broken.

Added to that from an outside perspective why the hell would you take this fight - Honest to god people didn't even know he fought last time WHO WERE AT THE EVENT. (edit: put it this way it was the fastest knockout in a championship event yet it did not get aired again or replayed as a highlight in the downtime despite all fights ending early on the card) He gets no promotion at all, he is buried on undercards, he gets potato opposition so while he seems like a beast if he truly was he would be more well known and more visible. So you take someone who has good forward momentum on their career, it's being pushed decently, with multiple options ahead for securing that career, why the hell would you take this fight especially when you don't know how the Nery/Yamanaka situation will pan out. This is a fighter who has explicitly stated that having 1 belt doesn't make you a real champion and that his aim is to unify. If Tete keeps winning and Burnett keeps winning THEY WILL FIGHT.

Also I see Warren as someone who would sacrifice their fighter to boost anothers profile before Hearn. Look for example at the minute, he is snapping up a bunch of Featherweights, but if you watch the interviews, Selby is the one he cares about.
