Anthony Joshua's Planned Unifications Won't Be Delayed By WBA Mandatory Says Hearn

Anthony Joshua's plan to win two unification fights in 2018 will not be scuppered by obligations to face a WBA mandatory challenger, promoter Eddie Hearn insisted.

Joshua is aiming to add Joseph Parker's WBO heavyweight title and Deontay Wilder's WBC belt to his collection, but knows he must eventually put his own WBA 'super' gold on the line against a contender yet to be named by the organisation.

"With whoever is made WBA mandatory, would there be an exception made for a unification fight? Yes, is the answer," Hearn told Sky Sports.

But his own WBA 'super' gold on the line against a contender yet to be named by the organisation.

Joshua is deep in negotiations to meet Parker in his next fight and he want to face Wilder in the summer, so we will request to delay the WBA mandatory until 2019.

"I'm due to speak to [WBA president] Gilberto Mendoza, who may come to the UK in December," Hearn said.

"Luis Ortiz was the mandatory but has been banned so there will be a new one.

"Manuel Charr has won the 'regular' title but they are not looking at him as a mandatory challenger.

"Alexander Povetkin is fighting Christian Hammer which could be the final eliminator to be Joshua's mandatory."

Every factual evidence has proved AJ wants to unify, pushing mandatories back to make unifications while Wilder has just been talking about unifying for past couple of years but his actions have proved to show the opposite! But all the Wilder fanboys said AJ is a duck.

I made a thread early October saying Hearn confirmed that Wilder is pricing himself out by wanting 50-50 but people said I'm blinding believing a promoter who always lies but everything he said had come true.

Wilder says he's the most feared and most ducked boxer lol he says he can knock out AJ in one round.. So if the fight is so easy why price yourself out?

He priced himself self out of the Whyte fight when he asked for 7 mil and he admitted it himself in an interview when he said that he knew he wouldn't get 7mil.

He said AJ is ducking him and that they are protecting AJ by not putting AJ on the Dillian Whyte contract.. His own words were "Put AJ on the contract and I'll whip them both" so Hearn put AJ on the contract but Wilder refused the fight to fight Breazeale instead!

Folks Wilder has been ducking real fights all his career. If it's took you 39 bums to realise this, this just proves how ****** you are. Of course there are still those who are so ****** they still support Wilder.. When he's 52-0 with 52 bums they will still scream bombsquad while crying about how beat Mayweather's record and that they will one day unify.

Povetkin/AJ has the ability to be the cashout fight for both fighters. Massive money would go into the fight from both Russia and UK.

Joshua vs Hammer ? Who doesnt want to see that ? Make a trilogy in 2019 ,Wilder will then surely go down to asking percentage by then .
