Seems they have tried that for a year now and will try again but Salido keeps saying he's happy with the money then pulls out as contracts need to be signed. I think Salido is most likely gonna try and see how many paydays GBP will give him with Vargas, Berchelt, Corrales, Machado etc; and then will grovel to Top Rank.

Mikey would duck him the way he ducked Gamboa, Cotto, Linares after calling them out. Probably why he's trying to move to 140 already.

I would prefer to see Loma clean up 130.
If Loma moves to 135 next then expect a Lomachenko-Beltran fight and I don't know about anybody else, but I don't want to see that fight.

They should have Verdejo fight Beltran and if Felix wins he becomes a good opponent for Loma in the near future.
Plus, there is still some work for Loma to do at 130.
He has to get past Rigo first obviously.
But if he does then a Berchelt, Salido, Farmer, Davis all look like interesting opponents.
Hopefully someone takes that belt off Machado even if it's Gamboa.
