Can anyone explain Errol Spence's layoff?

Would you rather him sit on the sidelines? Who is there at welter anyway? A sick Thurman? Porter (no, thanks), who? Those look kinda meaningless fights now for someone of Spence's caliber. It's basically like GGG winning vacant titles.

He can fight Thurman after he comes back from injury...like porters style or not..he's a top welterweight. So is peterson..and Garcia doesn't want to fight him.

Rangy southpaw with good power..........not to many takers.
Thurman loves to roll to his left, right into the right hook of Spence.
There is a "best way" to deal with southpaws but when they posses good power its not that easy. Back them up!!!!

We'll see who's willing to try, I know Porter will give it go.
