Big/Great fights that never happened in the last decade.

Off the top of my head I can think of:
De La Hoya-Cotto, was mooted in 2008 but Cotto got “plastered” by Margarito and ODLH ended up being retired by Pacquiao.

Maidana-Matthysse, I always really wanted this one to happen, it was never really close to happening but both fought under the golden boy/Haymon/Showtime banner for a couple of years so it would’ve been possible.

Cotto-Bradley, kinda missed each other weight wise, was rumoured several times but never came to fruition. I was optimistic Cotto-Bradley would’ve been made in 2016-17 but both are now retired.

Marquez-Morales, quite surprising these two never crossed paths, both were at featherweight for a number of years during the early 2000’s and both held titles simultaneously for a short period in 2003. I even hoped this fight might belatedly happen when both guys were at 140’ish around 2011-2012.

Juanma vs Gamboa, both were rapidly on the rise in 2009-10 and it looked like this could’ve been a real great fight at 126. Unfortunately the fight was delayed and delayed, then Juanma suffered a KO upset to Salido and was never really the same fighter.

    Bradley-Khan
Both were unified champs at 140 and both their careers were on the rise, they were rumoured to meet in 2011 for the undisputed light welterweight title. The fight never materialised with Bradley eventually getting the Pacquiao fight in 2012 and Khan went on to suffer back to back losses vs Peterson and DSG.

Salido-Miura, not necessarily a big fight but would’ve been a war for sure, was set for the
BHop-Smith undercard but Salido had to pull out with injury.

These all would’ve been great fights IMO shame they never happened.
I’m probably missing loads more, can anyone think of some more?

Trinidad-Mosley was another that we just missed out on in the early 2000's when both were at their best but timing was slightly off. Almost happened again in 2004 when both were already past it but would have still been big and a fun fight.
