    Like if they were SMWs?
The casual fan doesnt seem to pay too much attention to the lighter divisions in general
Do you think if they were both heavier would casuals be getting behind this fight?
Rigo will always be boring but Loma is entertaining

Stop repeating & saying false things like Rigondeaux is "boring" cuz that literally came out in an interview they did with bob arum right after the nonito donaire fight cuz he was pissed nonito lost cuz he was supposed to be the next pacquiao. Rigondeaux is a very entertaining boxer period! Rigondeaux also said that those same people that talk bad about him are the same people who have never experienced the ring & getting punched so cut the fake talk out please.

Most people find him boring, stop repeating dumb Bob Arum conspiracy bull****. You have to be next level delusional fanboy to think majority of casuals don't find rigo boring. In a lot of fights ( not Donaire fight ) he just does enough to win against bums. Sure he has power and breaks some jaws but even in those fights he did not look that exiting.

It would probably be about as big as Kov vs. Ward was.

I'm going to say no. About a year ago, we had two undefeated p4p guys fight, and it got very little buzz among casuals

That's a part of it. It also has to do with their personalities and lack of English skills for mainstream exposure.

You're right. This is the little man Ward-Kovalev. Only us hardcore fans are truly excited.
