Wrong guy. No way Al Haymon offers Thurman to Crawford before Spence! Crawford already has pretty good notoriety so the winner of Thurman and Spence is the better setup match imo.

Thurman vs. Spence (according to Thurman) is probably not going to happen until 2019. Thurman is saying he needs a tune-up in 2018, followed by his mandatory fight with Porter, so he doesn't see Spence in his near future. What is Spence supposed to do? Wait? If a good offer comes to fight Crawford in fall/winter of 2018, I think Spence takes the fight!

True, but I don't think it's likely that an offer will come with Crawford's name on it before Spence fights Thurman. I think Spence will beat Lamont, fight a hometown fighter against maybe his mandatory if there is one, and try to get another top welterweight in the ring with him end of 2018. 2019 hopefully the fight with Thurman will go down, prob in March or something, then jump straight to Crawford. But if the fight with Thurman is not the first fight for him in 2019 then I can see him asking for Crawford.

Sad part for Spence is that the IBF currently has vacancies @ #1 and #2 in the WW division, and no big names from #3 on down! If no Thurman or Crawford in 2018, he might need to go up and face Lara! That would be a goodie!

I'm hearing Lara might move up to 160 very soon. It is sad cuz for the top 3 at 147 there's not a lot of quality food for them beyond the top 5/6
