Weed is not his secret to his long life, he doesn't smoke it daily by his own admission.

What they are testing is CBD oil they take a compound from weed and amplify that to see if it will work against certain ailments not enough science done on it though, smoking it is not going to do jack **** but temporary ease your pain or take your mind off things.

Only way they can tell if weed does something health wise is by doing a long term study where the person smokes weed daily and see if it cured him of an illness, only problem is its a carcinogenic substance smoke can give you cancer if you ingest too much of it, and most people don't smoke weed multiple times a day like Cigs, cigs give cancer because people smoke a pack a day its addictive, im sure if someone smoked weed daily it would have some sort of carcinogenic effect too.
