many of you so-called experts expected Cotto to Steamrolle ali...what happened was he exposed Cotto for what he was, old slow and limited but for the left hooks... so much for your all-time greatest PR fighter... there's three or four still much better than he ever was and that's only in PR ...don't ever ever think Cotto is an all-time great ...not even in the top 20...

He indeed is a ALL TIME GREAT and a HOFamer, accomplished things no other PuertoRican did, in his prime he fought the best @ their prime and had a lot of wars, no one cant say he wasn't entertaining and most of his fights had drama in them, if there where / are three or four much better than him, why didn't they accomplish more? do more? Cotto is up there with all the greatest from PR, and you are just a hater or jealous like Tito Trinidad's father who is always bashing Cotto for all the things he has done, what we saw with Ali was just a shadow of what Cotto was and even with that we saw sparks of what he could do, he wasn't even near what he was with kamegai, he indeed looked slow and not quite there, still Cotto had a great career and we thank him for for all the great fights he gave us, a true warrior who didn't complain, not even to his trainer about the torn left bicep. About that he cherry picked Ali, Ali only has 1 L in his record and has a great trainer, we know he tried to fight Spence Jr and other fighters of high caliber and they where preoccupied with other fights or didn't want to fight or accept the terms , so the cherry pick backfired comment some people are saying has no weight or validity. Cotto was beginning to connect and back Ali up with shots.
