Spence didn't dominate Brook for me. Close round but Brook had success with his jab and very good moments.I don't know what the scores are, I only care about the fight itself. Brook even uppercutted Golovkin so badly that Golovkin got jelly legs, don't pretend that never happened.
Spence just went in, chilled and beat Brook without getting jelly legs, despite them being in a similar weight class, unlike Brook and Golovkin.
As for Canelo, if he did next to nothing, then Golovkin literally did nothing. He just plodded forward while eating powershots and Canelo never felt his power.
Canelo got outboxed by Amir Khan, FFS. I even doubt Golovkin could finish Khan within 6 rounds...
I do agree that GGG does not look so scary vs better opponents, however I also feel his age is now a factor. At 35+ your body does deteriorate.Comment

Another day, another dishonest, ignorant, and totally pointless attack on Golovkin.
How empty are your lives that apropos of nothing you sit down to write garbage like this?
Golovkin beat a larger and better version of Jacobs than the one Pirog faced on the scorecards, something Pirog could not do. Pirog was on his way to a very onesided score card loss before he landed the one punch KO. Being able to land a one punch KO is great, but Pirog was getting clearly out boxed before it happened.
Golovkin won 3 of 4 rounds against Brook, while breaking him down in 5. At most you could give Brook an even 2-2.
Brook did not get dominated by Spence at all, that's laughable. It was a very very good and close fight in the first half or it. Spence did eventually get Brook out of there, but it took Spence twice as long as it took Golovkin to break down the same opponent.
Canelo is high on the p4p list. Who are you to pretend that he's a bum just to make Golovkin look bad? You're a nobody, a random internet hater. Get a life. It's sad these forums are so empty of good content.Comment

He obviously did, whatever the numbers might tell you. Golovkin took extremely many powershots to the head and IMO, his zombie boxing style seemed completely hopeless at dealing with Canelo's superior speed and movement. Golovkin got clowned, bro, and even if it was a draw or just a slight win for Golovkin, it would still be a shame. It's completely inexcusable that Golovkin couldn't stop Canelo, after all that hype about his power.Comment

Keep in mind that for many Lil’G fans, with Gennady on the edge of his leave, they need a defining fight for Golovkin as they know resumes mean everything. Nelo will be around. Whenever they glimpse back at this fight they can only cling on to the “outlanded” difference... as if every bout in boxing justifies the win by “outlanded” without going into details (rather casually) about the type of shots...He obviously did, whatever the numbers might tell you. Lil’g Has no highlight reel for Alvarez. There will never be one...so let them enjoy what they have since they claimed Ward ducked Lil’G

Jorge Linares got stopped 3 times, yet he's a top fighter at 135. What's your point?
Earnie Shavers never won a world title, and he went the distance against Muhammad Ali. He also went the distance against a prime Larry Holmes, who became a world champ the fight after. Again, what's your point?
Jacobs having went the distance against GGG, doesn't change the fact that he still lost to him. If you paid attention to GGG vs Canelo, you'd see that GGG hit Canelo with a mix of jabs and power punches.Comment
