Sadam Ali can DEFEND against KAMEGAİ or Liam Smith

I woke up this morning to see Cotto had lost and it was surreal...

Saw the first couple rounds and I came to the conclusion that Cotto completely underestimated Ali by not moving around as much as he would...thinking it would be against the "chinny" Welter... but Ali has always been crafty. They didn't prepare correctly and HBO should stop sweating Roache''s trainer of the year lower thirds graphics..

With all that being said, luck to Cotto....I feel he might return tbh...that's not the way you go out...

So, I foresee some possible scenarios..

Immediate rematch...make some more cash, family acknowledges..

Warren and Oscar can move to Smith...depending on WBO...

Or They will have KAMEGAİ fight for the strap.

GBP ain't gonna waste time with Hearn, unless Ali gets punked by Brook via social media and encourages Oscar that he needs the fight.

Khan? I don't think GBP will acknowledge that as Khan could win on the cards easier than Ali catching Khan.

I can see Haymon maybe pushing Vargas to make some noise, and it would be to Ali and Oscar's cards if they feel an advantage or comfort at 154...

I think Kamegai can be next. This is how Arum would do it. Then worry about the mando from Warren''s #1, that can be dealt with later.

Kamegai comes to fight. I think he could break Sadam Ali down. Bring Kamegai vs Smith.

Winner fights Hurd or GBP moves Kamegai northbound for an easy Nelo WBO defense. Yoshihiro would have dibs given their rules

I honestly don't think it's in Ali's interests to stick around LMW, there aren't as many big fights potentially available for him as there are at WW anyway.

Didn't kamegai announce his retirement after his last fight and can Ali trade in his belt at 54 for a mandatory position for the 147 version like canelo did when going to 160?

I never thought about that. I guess Ali and GBP could make a bid for the 147 WBO southbound...

But Nelo was just fortunate to get the WBO 154 from Warren as it would’ve been Frank’s biggest stateside bout to date, plus a win of exposure for Box Nation. I theorized last year that in order to strangle negotiates with K2 they need a strap in the org that Lil’G wasn’t campaigning at, the WBO. Their strategy was for the WBo to force Nelo vs BJS at 160, hence Nelo’s current position, and GBP are in a win win situation for the winner. K2 can’t do anything about it unless they get some magical funding to entice BJS’s purse, but surely the future bout has already been payed out. This is why K2 and the WBC have been trying crazy efforts to lure Nelo into the immediate rematch. K2 isn’t bending to GBP’s terms. The nature of it is that K2 wil just have to wait for another super fight on heir own accord since they presume gGg is a big star.

Arum vs GBp for the 147 wBo is rather interesting now that you put it...
