What Size Boxing Gloves Are Best?

I need larger bag gloves as my current 10oz gloves are not padded enough and so light that sparring with 16oz is hard. I'm 14 and 102pounds 46kg.

What weight gloves will be good for my bag work?
    Any recommended gloves under £75?

You want 16oz and better the gloves the better off your hands will be when you get older so you don't want to skimp to much on price.Have not priced gloves in a while but Everlast are good gloves.Winning brand are very good for bagwork(not so much for fights or sparring). And make sure you get wraps and have somone who has boxed to show you how to wrap your hands right.DONT SKIP THE WRAPS!

12 or 14 ounce just wrap your hands with knuckle protectors they sell them at Ringside or Title

Great...another thread where people talk about how they punch so hard, they need couch cushions taped over their triple wrapped hands to work the bag.

16oz is normal but you're 100lbs. 16oz is too big. 14 is good. If you get a really well-padded, high-quality glove, you can get away with 12 but I'd plan for 14oz.
