Comments Thread For: Srisaket Rungvisai vs. Juan Francisco Estrada Finalized, Feb. 24

All of the details have been finalized for Srisaket Sor Rungvisai (44-4-1, 40 KOs) of Thailand to make the second defense of his reclaimed title against mandatory challenger Juan Francisco Estrada (36-2, 25 KOs) of Mexico. The contest will take place on February 24th, as an HBO televised main event, in what is expected to be the Superfly 2 card - a second portion of the September card which featured some of the top super flyweights in a tripleheader event.

I got Rung on this one.

Hope Ancajas will be on this card but his team/Top Rank is planning to have him on the Zurdo Feb. 3 card in Texas against a TBA Mexican boxer.

Rungvisai by KO inside 6 rds. Easy Fight for him.

Rungvisai is a Top 10 PFP and will show it in this fight.

Really hope Ancajas is on undercard, he is the next best in division.

Rungvisai vs Ancajas is the fight i want to see after this one.

estrada looks totally different in his fights since injuring his hand,, he seems to throw with caution, punches arent as hard,, but still good win if rungvisai gets the victory

I’m a big fan of both guys, it’s gonna be very interesting to see who can dictate the pace of this fight, SSR needs to bring that relentless style and force JFE to constantly work, if Estrada can control the pace and pick his spots I think he’ll pick Rungvisai off.
I got Estrada by a very close decision maybe a SD, this a fantastic fight regardless, can’t wait!!!
