The promotion for this fight has been nonexistent, 2 of the best boxers in the world and yet you never hear about this fight

Tickets for Loma vs Rigo already sold out, and HBO has already agreed to pay a fixed amount for the fight. There's no more money to be made by investing extra in promotion.

GGG vs Jacobs/Canelo were PPV fights so that's completely different. Throwing more money to promote those fights meant more buys, and even more money.

He's absolutely right. They're just not big names (not yet), and there are no dollars there yet. It really is unfortunate in what promises to be a great fight.

You do know the more viewers that see ads the more money ESPN makes don't you?

More ad revenue from Top Rank fights = more money for Top Rank. It's not hard to work out.

They could use all the high help they can get. If they were doing good they wouldn't of fired 150 people this past week

Unfortunately this one is just for boxing fans. Neither are known by casuals so a decent promotion wouldn't have made much difference. I can't wait though.
