Same here, he should have given Casamayor that 3rd fight. I've not liked him every since he felt it necessary to beat the hell out of his pregnant wife; and the fact that he tried to justify it at all makes me sick ("she played her part in it too"..or something like that. Pardon me, but she's not a trained professional in the art of asswhipping!)

From what I remember she was indeed pregnant. I could be mistaken (happens occasionally ) but right when he got out of jail there was an article/interview with him about the whole mess and thats when he tried to justify him beating on her. Pregnant or not, you dont hit women..especially when youre a professional boxer!!

And in my mind he made it worse by trying to justify it..like he had good reason (and made me think he'd do it again if need be)..mistreatment of women in general is for losers and cowards. I had hoped that serving out his sentence for doing it would change his opinion of it, but like I said, this interview happened right as he was being released..so apparently nothings changed..guess we'll see with his new wife, huh?

mayweather has the same disease...at this point in chico's life, he's probably too set in his ways to change...he probably saw his mom getting beaten evry day when he was a kid, or something...who knows, it's probably normal, business as usual for him - i don't think he believes he's done anything wrong, there's no need to change, etc.

Damn, thats probably the only thing worse than beating on a woman..and thats doing it in front of her kids! There is a saying though that he should have known about..and it's "rise above your raising"...I did it, so anybody can, trust me on that!
