You have to be absolutely mad to even make allusions about the idea that Saunders has the best resume in the middleweight division. Besides that, he looked like garbage in his last two fights, INCLUDING his fight under Ingle against Monroe Jr. He claimed before the fight he was going to demolish him and didn't come close. I don't even think he won his previous fight against Euro-level Akavov. The guy is no champ. Don't even try to justify his world title tenure.

Saunders is legit. He was inactive and weighed something like 220lbs before training for Akavov, absolute stinker of a fight and Monroe Jr was boring too, although he was in really good shape physically and still dominated.

After the Monroe fight, he kept his head down in training instead of ballooning up in weight and went into another man's backyard (ex world champion) and whooped him. Never seen Billy look as good as he did tonight, he won over a lot of people.

Fair play to him - a lot of boxers get hate for various reasons but Billy earned a lot of respect tonight from lots of people. He has shown that he is no pushover, and whoever wants his belt is going to have it earn it the hard way.
