Boxrec mobile website

Hi, I am working on a website design personal project and wanted to ask people here questions about the boxrec mobile website. For now I will ask one question and I will follow up with more when you guys answer.

- Tell me about the last time you tried to visit the boxrec mobile website.

I get pop ups on my tab which makes the website impossible to access on my phone. This happens every time.

I don't have my mobile on me but I have my iPad here.

it looks like some old asś vBulletin to start. phpBB is where it's at. Left sidebar is cluttered to a ******ed level. Too many ads. The ad sizes are mismatched on the left sidebar, nothing is uniform.

The banner under the header doesn't line up. The header has a lot of garbage in it. Posters are looking for the Forum, not no photo's or 'Champion'.

Three ad banners before I even scroll a tick, what the hell. Terrible.

There should be some sliders under the header with the top 5 stories. Maybe some paralax.

Search widget on the top right? Login/signup should be there.

10 ads on the front page, shameful.

Its just a gang**** of stuff and confusing to look at.

If you want more feedback I can reply when my wife brings my cell home.

I had to download a special browser called adblock specifically for this site. Its absolutely riddled with viruses and pop ups. Mobile site is unusable without that, it just redirects you to scam sites.
