By Cliff Rold - If you wanted to make the case that former four-division titlist Miguel Cotto, now 37 years old, was already gone it wouldn't be that hard. After taking all of 2016 off, Cotto (41-5, 33 KO) returned this year and Saturday enters what he says will be his farewell fight. His first start of the year came against Yoshihiro Kamegai, a tough and television friendly fighter whose only chance for victory was if Cotto was shot in ways no prior evidence had indicated...

Miguel Cotto will go out ( and stay out ) on his terms and I don’t blame him one bit
So what he’s fighting Ali yeah last fight and all
Doesn’t mean he’s gotta fight a top name and become a vegetable
Personally he gave me quite a few thrills over the years and I have followed his career
So fugh that chit and no I won’t recall this fight when thinking of Miguel Cotto but...
      He did it his way.

He will stay gone. He's already relegated himself to fighting the likes of this Ali puke. Just retire Cotto the Hoto. Dont plug up the media with coverage of this fart fest.

Guy will stay retired, sucks because he can still **** with the best of them. But he retires on his own terms. He has always been a man of his word, its important to him. He promised his family he would retire, and that is big to him. All these clown ass haters can say what they want.

I’d be amazed if Sadam Ali pulled it off, I like the kid and think he has some good skills, but whenever he throws combinations he tends to retreat with his hands slightly lowered, he also hangs out his chin a little, he’s open to the overhand right and also the lead left hook IMO. This is a Cotto KO all day long I reckon.
