My question, as a 3 year Registered Nurse (1 year as a cardiac nurse), is how does a boxer have high blood pressure? That's a very odd finding as most boxers have low blood pressure. Ortiz has been caught taking anabolic steroids (illegal, not over the counter) and of the many high BP medications, he just so happens to be prescribed a very well known masking agent. It's okay because Wilder is going to stretch his cheating ass with or without the PEDs.

This dumb **** fails a drug test and everyone gets mad at Wilder.

I don't give two ****s if hes "guilty" or not, HE IS AT FAULT. He didn't state on the medical sheet that he was taking what he was taking. How is that difficult for people to get through their thick fanboy peanut skulls?

Ortiz LITERALLY ruined what would have been a possible FOTY. It was a mouth-watering match up. He ****ed it all up by either trying to cheat, or just being a dumb ****, or both. It's one of the three.

Great investment by Team Joshua to donate money to the WBC. This buys them more time and if theyre really lucky Roidtiz might score an upset.

So the next time he tests positive he needs to be banned no questions asked. With that said go ahead and feed him to Wilder!! Lol hahaha A victory over Ortiz will make the matchup between him and AJ even more interesting!!

The most unforgivable thing about Ortiz in this situation is he was already popped once for PED, once that happens you need to make sure you dot your i's and cross all your t's. I don't care if he doesn't speak English he can find someone that speaks both English and Spanish in the US that knows the legalities of things.

So if he made a mistake he was already aware of what could happen and was still careless. That is a pretty bad look, or it was intentional and this was a fall back excuse.

Either way that is pretty damn bad so very fortunate for him and being with Haymon getting a second chance at Wilder is not out of the question. If that happens he better show up and put in the effort of his life because him getting that chance is a blessed opportunity and blowing that is in very bad taste.

A day late and a dollar short. Well...26 days really. What a sad shame.

"The WBC Board of Governors hereby ratifies the Prior Ruling's finding that Mr. Ortiz` failure to disclose his ingestion of prescribed high blood medication constitutes a violation of the WBC CBP Protocol, and confirms the $25,000 USD fine."

Translation: We still think you're guilty, but pay us $25K and you can be "forgiven."

Certain athletes are more susceptible to high blood pressure its not uncommon at all.

Enough of all the speculation b.s. It's perfectly plausible what happened here. And I'd take a wild guess he and his people will be way more careful FNO. End result? We should get Ortiz/Wilder soon. And isn't that what the vast majority of fight fans want? Just be happy for THAT, while you're sitting there enjoying that particular fight. I know I'll enjoy the he!! out of it.

Now, if in the off chance he gets caught for something else in his system, I'm sure everyone knows (including him) he'll only be fighting in support bouts on all Russia boxing cards FNO.

                      LOL
