Big Props to boxing for 2017

2017 has been a GREAT year for boxing and much props. I can't remember the last year that was as good as 2017. Great fights and great fights that we wanted we got.

Can't really remember a year for a while that was as good as 2017?

    Thoughts?

And we still have Rigo and Loma coming up

Honestly, with the PBC league, Top Rank keeping things in house and GBP I wouldn't have expected such an overwhelming success this year.

I think things have fizzled out a bit since September in terms of match-up's, but still have Loma-Rigo and Lemiuex-Saunders to come next month.

I expect 2018 to be even stronger as the Heavyweight division is a bit more colorful than it has been in years, HBO is exposing great little fighters like Inoue, Estrada, Rungvisai and others more and Welterweight and Middleweight are both stacked divisions again.

The less Mayweather and Pacquaio the better too for the overall game. Hopefully both don't fight again in 2018 and make it clear they are done.

I really liked it. People here moan about everything but we definitely had a few great ones. The end of this year is weak so it's easy to forget about what happened in the first 3/4.

You are right it was a great year and it's not quite over yet. It was the best boxing year I can remember in a while.
