he needs to find a promoter 1st. Al Haymon is not helping his career.

Peterson at WW isn't exactly what I was envisioning this far out from that fight....I suppose it would have sufficed as a homecoming fight after having to travel to win the fight but it seems so far removed now that it's more difficult to not be a little sour on the matchup. anyway, hope more happens in 2018 for him
Well Thurman wasn't gonna fight him so soon. And porter doesn't wanna fight Spence at all

Spence gets it. He will be more active next year and build his fan base. There's nothing to dislike about the guy. He is definitely the kind of cat I can pull for... If only these other guys would get in the ring with him. 147 is underwhelming considering all the talent in the division and their reluctance to mix it up

Spence my man but I'm sure he dropped Brok once, then Brook tried to propose to him afterwards

              i doubt it...it won't happen until 2019.

interestingly enough, i'm okay with thurman taking a tuneup, and fighting porter after.

no excuse for spence to not be third though.

well he only fought once this year, so three times next year should be a given. considering everyone is salivating to sign the guy, al haymon has no choice but to keep spence happy. if he wants to stay active, keep in the public's eye, al better make it happen.

According to ********* the #1 and #2 spots are vacant. I think the normal order of things (since Spence won the belt as the mandatory opponent) would be that the next mandatory would be determined by an eliminator between the next two highest available fighters who are willing to fight. My guess is that they would order #3 ranked Carlos Ocampo to fight # 4 ranked Kostantin Ponomarev. Depending upon when the IBF decide to take that action Spence might actually be able to get in maybe two more fights before his mandatory.

The desire to be active is one of the reasons Spence and GGG are amongst my favorite fighters. Since Spence is an American we will hopefully be able to see him in fights with high level guys while both sides are in their primes.

Seriously, there is no real reason that we shouldn't be able to see a round robin of Errol Spence, Danny Garcia, Shaun Porter, Terrence Crawford and Keith Thurman over the next 2 years.
