ANybody else find EUbank Sr REALLy entertaining?

His accent, his poems. I mean, he talks differently than anyone I've ever known.

He's like a little jester, his tuxedos, it's all hilarious

And then he'll use word like "apprentice" to describe other boxers. It's like he wants to be from early 1900's

Is he just weird or does he like the camera to much?

WHat's his deal, I'm not from the UK so I don't get enough of him.

One of my very favorite B Level fighters from England...very deluded and eccentric, which makes him ultimately entertaining...

He's a one off, always had an eccentric style in speaking, movement, dress sense, take your pick. At times he appears to be channeling a Victorian English Gent, at others, who the **** knows.

It was very entertaining watching him posturing in the nineties. When the bell sounded he would sometimes ignore the corner and the stool and just stand in the centre of the ring glaring at his opponent and the crowd.

His clashes with Nigel Benn were epic because whilst Nigel was a no nonsense ex squaddie with a savage aura in the ring, Eubank, with his odd turn of phrase and narcissist streak was almost designed to wind him up, which he did, relentlessly.

I think "amusing" would be a better word. Entertaining would imply that he's particularly competent at being interesting. I think him being interesting is a byproduct of his sheer weirdness. And, it works in a way. But, I don't think he intended it that way. I think he genuinely thinks he's cool and ahead of the trends. He's no Andy Warhol. He's just a fking weirdo, albeit a classy, articulate weirdo that was a badass boxer once upon a time.

He's weirdo for sure--Not your average weirdo, though. He's different.

Amusing and entertaining at the same time

He could write a 200-page weekly magazine on the state of boxing and I'd read it cover to cover in one sitting.

I never paid attention to that stuff. I think he has become a damn good fighter. I don't think he is B level at all as one poster said. He is A level in my opinion and I think he would KO any 168 pound UK boxer.
