Comments Thread For: Tyson Fury Hits Back at Criticism From Chris Eubank Sr.

Former IBF, IBO, WBA, WBO heavyweight world champion Tyson Fury has fired back at retired fighter turned trainer Chris Eubank Sr. - who made some critical comments about Fury's worth as a fighter. Fury, 29 years old, shocked the world in November 2015, when he traveled over to Germany to win an upset twelve round unanimous decision over Wladimir Klitschko.

Eh, Fury can list his "on paper" accomplishments all day but they don't negate what Eubank said. Fury won a quirky fight against his first decent opponent, then imploded as Eubank said. Fury has failed to truly convince a lot of people and the possibility of his ever being champ again is heavily in doubt. Now's not the time for him to run his mouth, it's his time to prove something.

Eubank Sr. just trying to stay relevant he is almost as bad as Angel Garcia when it comes to trying to take the spotlight from his son.

I agree his resume is decent .If he would have defended the belts for 10 years that would have been a different conversation. The only top contender he beat before Klitschko if my memory serves me right is Chisora. The criticism is justified. We all want him back, Boxing needs him.

Fury achieved more in one fight than Eubank did in his entire career. Eubank was a paper WBO champ and never wanted any part of Jones Jr, Toney, McCallum, Nunn, McClellan etc. And that’s coming from a Brit!

Overrated bum beat a gun shy Wlad. If he beat Wlad in the rematch then that would have been a different story, but it was a real snoozer. He is done, he wont come back. the bum will probably go on another coke or food binge.

                  The irony!

I guess no one is allowed to have an opinion on a highly opinionated and controversial individual!

He is good for boxing if for no other reason than the fact that he is a good salesman!

And doing a good job of milking the Klit win for all its worth!!

Fury beat an old champion, at the end of his career, in arguably the worst heavyweight title fight in the history of televised boxing. He should spend more time fighting his demons and getting into some form of respectable shape instead getting into Twitter beefs with anyone and everyone that has an opinion about his disgraceful downfall.
