Comments Thread For: Eubank Jr: Groves Chinny, Not The Same After Froch KO Loss

Chris Eubank rose to his feet to defend family honour when George Groves lit the fuse for his super-middleweight clash with Chris Eubank Jr by questioning his opponent's pedigree. Tickets for the World Boxing Super Series semi-final at the Manchester Arena on February 17 sold out in seven minutes and the domestic rivals exchanged verbal blows at a press conference in central London on Tuesday.

eubank looking confident as supposed.. I feel he's gonna put on an amazing performance and best groves come February 17th..A win will probably establish him as a fighter on his own legacy wise and not just being the son of Chris eubank sr

He's not in the least bit wrong. Groves has been shown himself to be chinny since the Anderson fight, whereas I've never seen Eubank Jr. hurt, although he hasn't been in with the same level of punchers that Groves has faced.

Its true grooves chins been dented but no need to point to that fact. Eubank should be confident he could beat the best groves.

Yes grooves has fought at higher level for longer. But he has also struggled against fighters eyubanks wouldn't have

Groves doesn't even move the same after the Froch KO. I really think he suffered neurological damage from that one. He fights very stiff since.

Let's see what Eubank does against a champion at 168 pounds. Like to see Groves wipes the floor with him but you can't deny the abilities of Eubank.

If anything its the opposite. Groves is at his peak right now. And as for being chinny, pretty sure he just beat the count from that monsterous shot and arguably cd have been allowed to carry on.
Eubank has looked terrible recently. He'll have to be at his v best to beat Groves.
