Rewatching Cotto Mayweather

One of my all time favorites. I saw PBF Floyd that night. It's odd how Floyd rocked Cotto hard but Canelo could barely dent Cotto.

That's in part because Floyd hits ALOT harder then most of his haters would like to admit.How many guys he fought have talked about how hard his jab to body is.

Yes Floyd has said that before. The distinction was that Cotto did beat up on Floyd and bloody him up. It was a grueling fight in which Floyd took too much punishment. His words. Take a look at the all access epilogue episode. It’s obvious he went through hell. So much so he let go of roger has his trainer and picked up his father and then adopted a more defensive style. Even trout said Cotto was his hardest fight and that his body was aching from all the damage Cotto did. Refer to the all access epilogue episode of that fight as we’ll.

There's a lot of reporters who always find an excuse for a fighter that Floyd beats. They bring up the, he was struggling to make weight, he moved up, he was having marital problems, he had promotional problems, he had a long lay off, he was too young and so on. Yet they make it seem like Floyd is invisible and never has stuff going on with him. Floyd fought Cotto while sick and having to turn himself in to jail a month later, and yet when out there and beat Cotto.

Some day Floyd will get more respect for what he has done.Not ever enough but more.

One last thing for people talkin about Burton fight.That fight was as hard as Floyd wanted it to be.He just st8 up fought him he showed him no respect it was not anything Burton did.Not to say Burton was not tough good fighter but he did not do anything that was a prob for Floyd.Floyd just fig he could get away with just fightin his style.

You said Floyd got caught in 6th and then got his azz handed to him.Thats BS NO ONE had him winning more then four rounds and that's TOPS.Now your trying to backtrack and say he won 3 rounds in a row.I don't remember him winning 3 rounds in a row but its been a while since I seen it but I do know it was a 9-3 -8-4 fight at best.And people made a big deal out of Floyd losing a few rounds and getting a bloody nose.It was one of his tougher fights but CLEAR win.Even Cotto's mother gave him no more than 4.
