These two idiots have many of the exact same problems, most pronounced, they are STIFF as hell. Neither has much of an active defense, neither has great timing. They both load up on punches, have average footwork, and are thriving in a division that's exceptionally weak.
That said, I kinda like both of them.

You kind of sum up everything that's wrong with modern boxing fans. That mentality of, "you haven't beaten anyone decent" – because you only rate 1 or 2 fighters in each division. So, I'm betting you only really rate Canelo, Golovkin and Jacobs at 160. In other words, the only fighters you value are the absolute elite. But surely there are gradations of quality. Elite, very good, good, domestic-level, average, below average.

Eubank has certainly beaten some 'decent' fighters. Blackwell was decent, a solid European-level operator. Chudinov was decent, strong and aggressive. Yildrim was good – limited but strong and busy – Abraham was good, on the slide certainly but experienced, tough, come-forward, underrated defensive skills and knows how to win fights.

I'm not saying Eubank's resume is hella impressive, cos it ain't: but to say he hasn't beaten anyone decent is simply wrongheaded. It would be more fair to say he hasn't beaten an elite world calibre fighter as yet. Groves' wins over Chudinov and Degale are probably superior to any of Jr's wins (although, let's face it, Eubank would batter Fedor Chudinov as he battered Dimitri).

I'm expecting a good fight between two confident fighters coming off impressive, emphatic wins. Got tickets in the scramble yesterday.

Nope, I can see you've never read my posts. I'm the first one to say that all fighters are worthy of respect, and that a loss or even a few doesnt mean your a bad fighter. Im in my forties and have been in the ring, I respect all fighters. Where Eubank goes wrong is he talks about other fighters as if they are beneath him, when he hasn't competed around their level. He talks about men being kept away from him for their own safety, a tasteless reference to Blackwells plight as if it is a sign of he's own ability. He posts footage of himself knocking out amateurs in sparring, which is totally against the spirit of the game. And my response was in reply to the poster alluding to Groves having a decent scrap with Cox as if it proves him a level below Eubank. Chris hasn't been anywhere near the level of the men Groves has been in with, and the hype is massively disproportionate.

Really? I don't think Saunders would nullified Groves the way he did Eubank in the early rounds of their fight. Nothing to suggest that Eubank could handle Froch, Jack or Degale. Haven't seen him in at that level yet.

Even Paul Smith wobbled Groves early in his career

Your point? Smith hits hard, and being wobbled is part of boxing. If I recall, Groves annihilated him in two rounds.
