He stepped up to fight a heavier, higher rated fighter and then immediately after went back down in weight and took on the most dangerous challenger in the division. He failed, and failed badly, but the dude was chasing greatness. If he doesn't have your respect, you're not a boxing fan.

Brook, easily, had one of the worst managed careers that I've ever seen. So much talent. Pre-Golovkin, I favored him over basically everyone at 147. That's why I hold Spence's win over him in such high regard

I think it's harsh to say that he failed badly. I'm never a believer of "moral victories" but he gave a great account of himself in both fights, he just got beat by the bigger guy the first time and the better guy the second time.

Agreed, i was a fan of both brook and ggg before that fight, never usually get patriotic for a fighter from the same country as me but i was cheering and shouting like a madman for Brook, during that fight.
He also ahead on the scorecards in the spence fight or at worst, level, before his face fell apart.

May he rest in peace. He was just traveller trying to earn money. Took his own life sadly. He can rest well knowing even though he started out at a much lower weight he was able to take Kell Brook to 12 rounds on three occasions.

The first fight was 6 rounds.

The second was 4 rounds.

The third was 6 rounds.

He had been 147 and above for over 5 years.

So what I don't get is your hatred for Brook, to the point where you are willing to lie. Repeatedly. You are well aware of the fact that a boxing match does not go 12 rounds unless it a championship bout. (Or some special occasions.) This was early in Brook's career.

Yeah, I had Brook up a point or two at the time of the stoppage. If he would just stop crying for a Khan fight and actually rebuild himself, I think he has a lot of time left at the top level
