Dammit. How many fights has Andrade backed out of now? So sick of the ducking within American boxing. They expect to be paid better than foreign fighters, and given more recognition as being the best, and yet they aren't willing to even fight the best foreign fighters either at all, or unless every single thing is in their favor. Andrade just ****ing fought, how could he not be in shape to prepare for 12/16? Such bull****.

But fine, if that's really the issue, and it's not a duck, then January or February should be perfect. Otherwise, I am done supporting Andrade. Just when I was starting to like him, too, after saying he would fight anyone. Made me forget him dropping out of the Charlo fight, for a second. But now we have a trend with Andrade at the center of it. If Deryvanchenko is not his next opponent, Im done supporting him.

He is a joke last two fights he should have gone for a knockout, he and lara should fight each on undercard show and pay them small money as nobody gives two toss about them i certainly he is now in the "who needs me club"

I like this site but I mainly use to as a means to get my energy out via internet arguing. I have never seen a non-political forum with such unreasonable people.

THIS! I like Idec some times....but seeing his physique I find it ironic he's theorizing strategy and camp.

Here's why this article is an epic fail.

Only Andrade knows how much time to recoup from his Fox fight. If he needs at least needs 2 weeks to ''heal'' or rest, fine, that means Andrade only gets a 4 week camp, then 1 week to prep relax before the fight...

Andrade is a Top 10 and already has dates with HBO, as long as he racks up wins he doesn't have anything to worry about, and Derevyanchenko is a no name in the 160 division. If anything, you'd think HBO wouldn't want GGG v s Derevyanchenko since GBP has everybody waiting, as well as Charlo.

4 weeks training camp is all up to TEAM Andrade. Andrade is ranked in the ABC's. He doesn't need the pressure for the IBF.

People don't realize, CHARLO can fight Derevyancheko in the IBF too!!

Sergiy Derevyanchenko is a threat at 160 that is being ignored but all he needs is his opportunity he is going to upset somebody and completely disrupt this Division once he is given his opportunity

As for Andrade who I'm a fan of as well, this is no surprise! While extremely gifted in the ring, his team around him outside of it is AWFUL. Starting to see a Pattern Here with Andrade:


He says all the right things, build up interest from fans and boxing media but for whatever reason have yet to deliver the big fight in which he has been offered multiple times and contracts was sent to him but it is always something with Andrade. I don't know if it is him exactly or his Father and Promoter who make these Awful Decisions that has done nothing but stalled his career over and over

Andrade wants Charlo. Andrade would've only been given a 4 week camp against Derevyancheko. It's not the right time.

If I'm not mistaken, if Andrade had a camp of at least 6 weeks, plan the right sparring partners for Andrade for Derevyanchenko, seal the win. Then the IBF enforces Charlo vs Andrade for the IBF title elim. it would also affect the Canelo vs GGg in Sept. fight if these fights happen
