Yes but he was suspended for mental health issues, not PEDS. Hence why Hughie is allowed to fight and Tyson isn't.

The PEDS thing is just a witch hunt to try and force Fury out of the game. This will all come out in public when Fury sues them for millions of pounds for slandering his good name.

Why on earth would there be a conspiracy to push Fury out of the game? It makes no sense at all. There have been far worse behaving boxers that have stayed active, like Mike Tyson for instance. All promoters, even the ones representing the opposition boxer, need both fighters to sell fights. Fury brings ticket sales, sanctioning bodies and promoters need ticket sales. Hey dude. Firstly, I am not saying that Fury is totally innocent, he has said some dumb stuff, although a lot was taking waaaay out of context. I do think there are a few reasons, from what I have seen, that all add up in my opinion. It doesn't all relate specifically to Fury, infact I think it's far more about wider agendas going on in the world and the fact that Fury doesn't serve those agendas. I've done a lot of reading around politics, oil, conspiracies etc and this is what I reckon...

1) He's not politically correct and basically he's 'anti establishment'. He's not someone who can be bought and paid off to tow the usual line of money rules & pushing consumerism like most celebs. Look at all the most successful sports stars there are, they are walking billboards. They are 'brands' and just as much corporation as they are human. Fury isn't a walking billboard, he's a free speaking gypsy who is a devout Christian and who also has ******s in his team and promotes equality between religions. With all that's going on in the world he doesn't have a the right fit for the corporates as he doesn't push the agenda they want.

2) He said a lot of home truths about ***ish banking monopolies screwing over normal people, high level political *****philes, illegal wars and major corruption. ANYONE in the spotlight who talks about this sort of stuff gets screwed over. Most of the papers & media are owned by people who have very close links to all of the above. The establishment cannot have the World Heavyweight champ saying this stuff...just look what happened to Ali for speaking out and being anti-war, he had 3.5 years out of the game and was hated in his day.

3) The rise of Anthony Joshua. AJ is the star, the cash cow, the perfect human brand. People know that Fury is his biggest threat and is essentially everything that AJ isn't. With Fury the champ, there is no way AJ would have been where he is now. AJ is bringing in millions to a lot of people and I think Fury's ban/persecution was a way of clearing the path for him.

That's a few reasons I can think of. Basically I think his face doesn't fit for the corporate elite. He speaks his mind, he doesn't promote consumerism, he's anti establishment, he's pro-****** relations, he raises controversial topics and he would stop the AJ train dead in its tracks. That's more than enough in my view and a lot of other celebrities have been shut down for similar things. Just my opinion.

Oh, as for Mike Tyson, he was controversial, but he wasn't really political. If anything he reinforced the stereotypical black man agenda that has been promoted for years that was started to help justify slavery. Anyway. I'll stop now, getting way to deep for a boxing forum. Peace.

Perhaps before you accuse people of being suspended for taking PEDs you should actually take the time to read into the history instead. Educate yourself first and you might stop making yourself look like a twat.

Times have changed. Back in Tyson's day, the world wasn't full of sensitive snowflakes who cry and get offended by anything and everything. In this PC obsessed culture, you just can't criticise Zionists or ****sexuals, otherwise your career/life gets ruined.

Unlike Joshua, Fury can't be controlled, and that scares the life out of the establishment.

Sounds very deep, I'm just not convinced the political elite pay that much attention to boxers, they're not generally known as the most astute social commentators. If anything the only motive I can think of for the BBBofC would be that they might see his comments as 'bringing the sport into disrepute' but even so, I dunno, I just can't see them all thinking that much, I genuinely think its more a case that he didn't respect that establishment (the BBBoC), with the PEDs and Coke stuff, he didn't go humbly cap in hand when he did something wrong, instead he got all mouthy and on the offensive, to me that's more probable as the reason they have it in for him.
