Your Fooling Yourself If You Think Benn Would Of Stopped Jeff Harding, Jeff Harding Was One Of The Toughest Men To Ever Lace Them Up-even Tougher Than Jeff Fenech. Look What Happened To Benn When He Landed His Bombs On Collins Only To See That Collins Wasn't Going Anywhere-benn Caved In Ala Tyson.
how would these proposed match ups have gone ?

And Benn Struggled Like Hell To Stop The Lightheavies He Fought Such As Morgan, Piper, Galvano. Benn Was Only A Small Middle, He Could Even Be Called A 'blown Up' Supermiddle Because He Only Moved Up In The First Place In Search Of A Rematch With Eubanks.
Harding Would Of Plain And Simple Been Too Big And Strong For The Guy.Comment

did'nt rod douglas beat benn the year previous though ?Originally posted by JuicyJuiceBenn had demolished Douglas in the final of the 1986 London ABA'sComment

Rod Douglas beat Benn up in 1985,Benns first and last defeat in the amateurs,he had Benn trapped on the ropes. Benn won the rematch a year later only because he floored Rod in 10-15 seconds and Rod wasnt able to shake off the effects. The ABA robbed Benn though of going to the Commonwealths because Rod wastheir boy.Comment

Benn against Collins was possibly even worse than Tyson against McBride, you fool, but yes Jeff Harding was tough and determined but would of struggled to win a round against a super slugger in Benn : if Benn couldn't knock him out he'd of atleast stopped him on cutsOriginally posted by Super CruiserweightYour Fooling Yourself If You Think Benn Would Of Stopped Jeff Harding, Jeff Harding Was One Of The Toughest Men To Ever Lace Them Up-even Tougher Than Jeff Fenech. ps
i like nunn, harding, hearns & rjj respectively. nunn quite simply the slickest s.o.b around pre toney & holmes 2 static, harding quite simply 2 big & strong for benn & durable enough to take his punch, hearns more filled out into 175 / mccallum 2 old 2 chase him if hearns boxes & moves, & rjj far too fast for an old buster.
nunn ud, too slick
benn ud, i think he could pull this off
mccallum ko hearns developed weak ribs at the higher weight classes and the body snatcher would do exactly that for a late tko
jones ud too fast with his hands and feetComment
