From what I've read so far, I think a lot of the UK fans are picking Groves, not sure. I like Groves, too, and he's a very good fighter, but Eubank is too fresh, too relentless, too strong, and extremely aggressive. He's a combination power puncher, as well. Groves's face won't hold up.
Chris is at the height of his career right now, with a lot of self confidence (some say arrogance). I don't see Groves overcoming all that at this point of his career. He'll certainly fight his balls off, though. At the end, it won't be close to enough. Groves is worn out, IMO.
I predict Euabank in 8 rounds or less, in a war.Last edited by BoxingIsGreat; 11-28-2017, 07:57 PM.Comment

I see Eubank absolutely smashin smashing up Groves and dropping him twice but then Groves turns the tide with bodyshots starting from round 5 on and in the 9th and in true warrior spirit he hits his mark!
He catches Eubank with a sublime left hook to the bread basket as Eubank in mid combo throws a uppercut!
Eubank winced from delayed reaction and then drops to the canvass!
He sprawls around, gasps for air and fights extremely hard to make it to his feet and beat the count, but just as he gets up the ref counts 10 and calls the fight!
An upset Eubank shoves the ref as Groves falls to his knees in ecstatic joy with raised hands!Comment

UK fans are the best in the world followed by the Japs. They like boxers of all races in their country. Groves has a record of 27-3. If that record was here the states, it wouldn't have sold out like this. Brits stand by their boxers.Comment

I know a lot of guys from the UK are pissed because many people are simply buying tickets with the intent to re-sell at crazy prices. It is a big fight in the UK, but it isn't "sellout in 7 minutes" big. Because more money is made at the gate than on tv in the UK, people are trying to benefit off of it. Seats will still be available up until fight date...

I was on the ticket site at 8.55 and kept refreshing my browser every few seconds, even then only just managed to get my tickets. I checked eBay an hour later and stubhub are selling tickets in the same area as I am face value £100 for £225. It's disgusting and I feel for the proper fans who will have to miss out or pay extortionate prices.

This is exactly what happened to me, had already booked off that day from work. I was going to this fight, went on to the site to get my tickets and boom refresh refresh refresh... and no luck. Came in here and drop a post about stubhub and what happened? Yep just like I said earlier they are selling tickets there for £200 Plus... sickening
Something needs to be done, I think that they should check tickets and ID's at the venue and unless one member of your group has matching ID to the card used to pay for them the tickets should be invalid. It's a bit drastic and would lead to longer queuing times at first but something has to change, it's just not fair.Comment
