Wilder was going to face Ortiz, unfortunately Ortiz was caught red handed using illegal drugs, no fault of Wilder that there are disgusting drug cheats in the sport!

Kuzmin, glass house man!
He signed up to fight two of the heavyweights avoided fighters and both tried to cheat to get an extra advantage over Wilder!
Joshua rather fight a paper champ who won his title by hometown cooking and who has fought PPV on a YouTube channel!
Yet, Wilder has momentum behind him and has fought on Showtime at Barclays and the MGM in Las Vegas!
Glass house, Kuzmin!

And wilder has done even less in 38 fights lol. Atleast vitali dominated guys he was superior to. Wilder actually struggles with most of his bums and loses rounds to them. Almost got chinned by molina and some bum named scorniersVitali liked to fight old guys, fat guys, or old guys that were fat~ as someone used to put it on this board.
He did not beat a lot of really high quality fighters~ which was that guys point.
Vitali may have been better and may have smashed Wilder but he really didn't do **** in his career for someone so highly regarded~.

Wilder left them all pretty much laying in a heap, he did what he set out to do, if you do what you set out to in a fight how is a problem? Losing rounds, getting hit that is boxing and no one thinks Wilder is going to be some flawless guy that impossible to hit that has nothing to do with what his style or strengths are based on. Wilder has won the vast majority of rounds he has fought so I don't see your point other than something happening here or there.
Almost counts for what in boxing? That is right nothing~Comment

Thats always the number one response with wilder fans. " Oh well he knocked them out doe so we should ignore everything else".Wilder left them all pretty much laying in a heap, he did what he set out to do, if you do what you set out to in a fight how is a problem? Thats where you are wrong, if wilder is supposed to be a legitimate elite HW champion, he cannot be losing rounds and struggling with bums the way he does. Even if he knocks them out. Elite fighters do not struggle with bums, by doing so wilder is showing he is not at the elite level himself hes just scraping by solely on power against fighters who are basically not that good.
At the elite level, he will not just be struggling and losing rounds. He will be getting knocked out because his opponents will actually have power too and capitalize on his mistakes he makes. They will just eliminate his right hand and expose him completely.Comment

All that matter is winning fights, winning rounds is a means to an end of winning fights. Still even with that Wilder has won the vast majority of rounds he has competed in since winning his belt and only been hit clean a few times that he survived and came back from to hurt the other guy. So your definition of struggle is different from mine because he handled all those guys with relative ease he was never in danger of getting beaten, which to me would be a problem.
That is generally considered a positive in boxing.Comment

More denial. " Beat them relatively easily" lolAll that matter is winning fights, winning rounds is a means to an end of winning fights. Spilka legit won rounds against him and outboxed him, if it had gone to a decision he would have had a good chance to win.
Molina almost chinned him and knocked him out, took wilder 9 hard rounds to finally end him after trying so hard.
Duhapuas pressured him all night taking his punches and wilder went life and death with him showing hes basically on the same level. Wilder looked like he was in a bar brawl after lmao. And it wasnt even real knockout.
Washington won every single round on the scorecards against him before the premature stoppage, washington wasnt even remotely knocked out.
Every single one of those fights he struggled , the only fights he won easily were the arreola and second stiverene fight. Which isnt really saying much because stiverne came in borderline obese and didnt throw a single punch the whole fight. Wilder is not a good fighter, just has power and has been skating by on it purely because he doesnt fight anyone good.Comment

Szpilka was losing the fight before getting stretchered out of the arena, yea he tried had and made it difficult but he was losing the fight when it ended decisively.More denial. " Beat them relatively easily" lol

Molina got dropped like 5 times and dominated every round outside of like one big shot.
Duhaupus lost every round while landing some jabs.
Washington Wilder didn't really do anything until round 4 (which he did more than Washington if you want to be honest) and the first time he threw a right in anger the fight ended, yea he wasn't knocked out when he was stumbling around the ring like a drunken sailor in rough seas after the fight was stopped.
So yea I don't see your point nothing there is that meaningful at all and he was never in danger of losing any of those fights. If he was that would be an issue, plus if a guy is pushed in a fight that leads to improvement while total domination leads to stagnation because why improve. I would rather have to have a guy work hard and still win easy than just blitz everyoneComment

You are in pure denial lol. Keep telling yourself wilder didnt struggle with those guys. Everyone knows he did, he also didnt even KO 2 of them with his superman power.Szpilka was losing the fight before getting stretchered out of the arena, yea he tried had and made it difficult but he was losing the fight when it ended decisively.

Wilder cant box, he never has a gameplan and doesnt have any fight IQ. He goes into fights and plods around trying to land 1 punch . Not a good recipe. Against bums maybe . Not against real fighters which we all know hes never fought.Last edited by RussB23; 11-29-2017, 05:14 PM.Comment

I don't think you have ever really watched Wilder fight, you might have seen the fights but you had no understanding of what was going on in the ring at all. That ok I understand you don't really get heavyweight boxing, you will learn in time. The exact same argument you are making is what people said of young George Foreman, he doesn't look right, he is so gangly and easy to hit, all he has is power, he hasn't fought anyone worth a damn.
All that really doesn't matter as long as he can win fights with what he does bring to the table and Wilder does bring positives to the table that you are not close to understanding or recognizing because you are caught up in what he isn't.
He really didn't struggle that much though because he was never in danger of losing. if you aren't in danger of losing how much did a guy really struggle?
You severely underestimate the dude, if he was such an easy mark he would be treated much differently. All you are saying is much easier said than done, and pretty much no one in boxing is treating Wilder like that or he would be targeted in ways that is not even close to reality.Comment
