Charr v Oquendo? Good, that means that that the WBA's obligated title shots will soon be over and then after this fight Charr/Oquendo can be sacrificed to the WBA Super and they'll finally be back down to 1 WBA heavyweight title. Whether that happens in 2018 is another matter though...

Whether it happens at all is another matter... just look at the middleweight divisionCharr v Oquendo? So many irrelevant bums in boxing holding irrelevant joke titles. A tuneup for Fury you say? I'd rather watch Charr lather Fury's balls and then fight Amir Khan or Dominic Wade, they would bring more credibility to his fake ass beltComment

I must not have been, but then it's hard to pay attention to an aging fighter who I think was going to fight Shannon "Let's Go Champ" Briggs for a fake WBA title.
......and WTF has he been doing the past 3 years?
......Don't answer that, it doesn't matter.
What a strange game we follow.Comment

Fres is like a bad penny you can't get rid of. His name surfaces every 8 months or so for this title shot that he was promised by the WBA 10 years ago. And every time Fres attempts to setup a fight, it gets derailed by him or his opponent. Last summer Fres was supposed to face Briggs, but then Briggs tested positive for a banned substance.
What's gonna with this is, Fres is gonna get injured and Charr will face someone else. In 8-12 months, Fres name will appear again...Comment
