Who cares really? Neither of these fighters are gonna be relevant in the Heavyweight division. Manuel Charr called Tyson Fury out a year ago, that's about it. He still could possibly be used as one of Tyson's tuneups.

Apparently you haven't been paying attention the last three years. Oquendo won an injunction in federal court in 2014 guaranteeing him this title shot.

I must not have been, but then it's hard to pay attention to an aging fighter who I think was going to fight Shannon "Let's Go Champ" Briggs for a fake WBA title.

Fres is like a bad penny you can't get rid of. His name surfaces every 8 months or so for this title shot that he was promised by the WBA 10 years ago. And every time Fres attempts to setup a fight, it gets derailed by him or his opponent. Last summer Fres was supposed to face Briggs, but then Briggs tested positive for a banned substance.

What's gonna with this is, Fres is gonna get injured and Charr will face someone else. In 8-12 months, Fres name will appear again...
