2017 was a big year for Mayweather Promotions. The Las Vegas based promotional outfit put on several shows in venues in Nevada, California, New York, and Washington DC. They put on seven shows in Las Vegas alone. Mayweather Promotions CEO Leonard Ellerbe said that they plan on continuing to increase the number of events they put on as they expand their roster.

If Floyd can make Jack/Stevenson and Tank/Machado in the 1st quarter of 2018, then follow up with big fights in the 3rd or 4th quarter, say Tank/Berchelt (if Tank wins) and Jack/Browne or Alvarez (assuming Jack wins) then it will be a big year.

I believe the first two fights will happen. Ellerbe did say recently in interview that Gervonta will be fighting for a title next, so unless it's Farmer in March I'm guessing it's Machado.

As for Berchelt-Davis that won't be happening. What's more likely to happen is that Gervonta will be fighting some mandatories in Baltimore, where they would try and sell out arenas.

I can understand keeping him fighting in Baltimore, but he needs to keep fighting better comp. Machado IMO is better than Farmer so that is the fight I'd like to see.

If he beats Machado then the only acceptable fights IMO are Berchelt, Salido or Loma. It wont be Loma. If Salido beats Roman in December, then maybe fight him in the 2nd quarter and then fight Machado after he defends the belt.

TMT has made a list of world champions and put on some good shows.
